Thank You Las Vegas!

The previous Las Vegas 40 Days For Life Campaign saw numerous lies saved through peaceful, fervent, on-site prayer. Each year our campaign to end abortion in the Las Vegas valley grows stronger and stronger. More than one half of all prayer days during last year's event was adopted by churches! This year, we are anticipating even more church participation, with pastors fully adopting specific days during the 40 Days Vigil and commending their congregation to sign up, fast and pray!

In 2009, one Las Vegas abortion facility closed while we prayed in front of it! Several other illegal sites in our city closed as well! Nationally, 14 abortion centers have closed permanently in our nation.

This year, the Las Vegas 40 Days For Life Campaign will be focusing on the busiest abortion facility in Nevada, one that specializes in late term abortions, Birth Control Care Center, located at 872 E. Sahara. This one facility shares a property line with 2 churches, with 2 others nearby. We are believing this abortuary will be the next abortion facility to close in Las Vegas.

Children need not die mere feet from our sanctuaries. God's power wielded by God's people shall manifest the miraculous through prayer. The gates of hell shall not prevail in our city.

Our Prayer


Heavenly Father, We thank You for the gracious gifts You will give us during these 40 days of prayer and fasting. Your hands are always with us and we thank you for all the blessings You pour on us and on our community. You have given us a beautiful gift, an opportunity to serve You and those You have said are precious to You, our preborn brothers and sisters.


Father, pour down your blessings and grace on us today. Bless our efforts. Let them bring peace to our communities. Most particularly, may we be committed to defending our preborn brothers and sisters, the handicapped, the abused, the neglected, the elderly, and the terminally ill. Use our humble efforts to continue to save the lives of preborn babies, to transform broken hearts and to bring those who work in abortion centers to renewed life and repentance.


We thank You Lord, for all the prayers You have answered. Continue to hear our prayers and answer them with healing and renewal. Allow this 40 Day offering to continue to glorify You and bear witness to Your intimate and sacred presence in the life of every human being you create.


We ask all of this in the name of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
